North Down Motors is a locally owned and managed family business that opened its doors in July 2006.

Ian has a lifelong history in the Northern Ireland car trade. Starting his career as a trainee with Fergusons Ford (Newtownards) in 1984, moving up the ladder, he has held senior management positions including Finance, Business, Sales and General manager in some of Northern Ireland's largest dealers. He has a wealth of experience in aspects of the local car market.

North Down Motors expanded in 2011 with the introduction of their new Service and Mot centre located on site.

The latest expansion and development for our company is a relocation to larger purpose built premises that will incorporate a new fully compounded retail and service parking area, new customer reception and toilet facilities, sales lounge, private finance offices and a 7500sq ft sales preparation centre and fully equipped workshop.

Having outgrown our previous sales compound and workshop, these new premises will take us to a new platform in the local sales and service sector competing with main dealers facilities at independent dealer prices.

Stocking between 50-70 quality used cars, full finance facilities to fund your purchase on site and a fully equipped high roof access car and van workshop, valet and preparation centre all under the same roof we are in a position to take our customer service standards and retention to another level.
